Job Description

This is a position for a QA Engineer who will work closely with development and technical teams to develop solid testing strategies in order to find, report, and resolve bugs quickly. The selected candidate should be able to work with the project team to drive, coordinate and perform all levels of testing, review Requirement Specification and Software Design Specification documents and develop a comprehensive understanding of testing requirements.

Job Requirements

• 2-5 year experience in the software industry with a combination of strong technical and business skills.
• QA Engineer should have a technical degree of at least BS/BCS or MS from a well reputed institution.
• Strong QA Skills on planning, bug isolation, bug report writing, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, especially Quality Assurance.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Sound knowledge of CMMI Model and ISO standard.
• Design, develop, and execute test plan and test cases to cover functional, performance, system, and regression testing.
• Create and validate test data for functional components of applications.
• Report, track and analyze test results and work with project team to investigate or clarify issues.
