i-phone developer : Senior Level position
A Leading Offshore IT Solutions consultant looking for somebody who is passionate about creating innovative mobile applications. This person is an exceptionally experienced and impressive coder who has a real passion for what they do.
The Leading capacity person should already have designed and launched a number of iPhone applications in the app store and is familiar with the iphone sdk. Should be able to demonstrate innovative UI design and development skills and understand what makes an app addictive and appealing.
Job Requirements
Key Skills
A systematic approach to application integration
Firm Grip on Objective C language (Core language for iPhone and MAC development )
Familiar with interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming and concurrency
Defensive coding ability accompanied with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
Qualifications
Ability to develop against a variety of web architectures and services (HTTP, XML, SOAP, REST, RPC, JSON Parsing etc.)
3 - 5 years of experience in UIKit framework, Cocoa/Objective-C for mobile devices (e.g. iPhone)
Experience in programming languages such C/C++, Python, RSS and XML parsing is a plus
Experience managing projects in an SVN/Git environment
Knowledge in applications such as streaming e.g. RTSP, HTTP live streaming is needed
Experience of media codecs and multimedia trans-coding related products (e.g. ffmpeg) is an advantage
Key Experience
iPhone development - at least 4 year, including launched applications
Very good object oriented design experience
Agile software development experience. Knowledge of the i-phone three20 libraries
Candidates having good communication skills in English language will be given preference.
This position based in a major metropolitan location(s) and candidate from Karachi & Lahore Shall be preferred.
