Software Configuration Manager

Job Description

ZIN is seeking a Configuration Manager with proven knowledge in software configuration management practices and in CM tools, such as Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server.
The post has the following duties and responsibilities:

• The CM must have experience in software development environment.
• The CM should have knowledge of the principles and practices of CMM/CMMI level 2 or greater, in particular software configuration management.
• The CM is required to have an understanding of enterprise application integration technologies.
• Must have experience in QA life cycle process and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain release configuration documentation.
• Scheduling and planning of release with company management.
• Emergency patch & fix planning and implementation.
• Communication of fix and release plans.
• Improve build and configuration processes and automation.
