Quality Control Supervisors

Job Description

Quality control activities on capital projects and supervise Inspection team as may be necessary based on project requirements.

SCOPE:
The incumbent will:

• Supervise, monitor and/or perform activities at all stages of projects.
• will ensure contractor’s work is incompliance using good knowledge of Saudi Aramco engineering requirements, standards, procedures and specifications of the project contract.
• will provide training to others in order to achieve project requirements.
• Duties may require physical exertion working outdoors confined high elevations, and remote work location.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Supervise team of Inspectors assigned for a specific project.
• Monitor contractor’s quality systems, records and quality personnel for compliance with requirements.
• Review and evaluate contractor’s quality document submittals.
• Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
• Assist in the training of other inspection.
• Performing Quality Audits on certain projects.

Job Requirements

• BS degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering with at least ten (10) years of relevant Inspection specialty in the construction of Petrochemical or hydrocarbon facilities of which five (5) years are in supervisory position
• 7 + years experience in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry;
• Certified ISO 9001 Auditor or equivalent
• Have worked with the GIS Company for at least one (1) year.
• Excellent Knowledge of Inspection techniques in Oil & Gas Industrial sector;
• Thorough knowledge and training in the use of measuring and test equipment routinely used in conducting inspections at manufacturing and fabrication sites;
• Aramco approved OR Pass Saudi Aramco written exam for International Codes and Quality System Standards and Methods (ISO 9001) or Certified as ASQ Quality Manager and Saudi Aramco interview.
• Quality management work experience in a supervisory role within construction industry for petrochemical or hydrocarbon facilities.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable international standards.
• Confirmed full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods (ISO 9001).
• Excellent communication in English, both written & spoken;
• Good organizational and computer skills;
• International, UAE or Saudi Driving Licence is an advantage;
• Candidates with immediate availability will be given preference
• Must have good vision (20/20 normal or corrected) and be in good physical condition.
