Job Description

• Responsible for preventive maintenance and smooth running of the factory through out the year including delivering downtime, machine break down KPIs etc               
• Responsible for energy conservation program delivering reduced carbon emission targets               
• Execute all plant upgrade, capacity enhancement projects               
• Ensure all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with corporate safety standards    
• Establish maintenance technical standards and practices in consultation with regional engineering champions and ensure appropriate reporting of performance               
• Establish contractor standards and develop and optimise mix of activities for tasks to be outsourced               
• Ensure compliance of all legal regulations in the field of engineering and maintenance at site, such as boiler inspections, weights & measures, etc.

Job Requirements

Knowledge including: education, qualifications and training                   

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical                
• Training in Management and leadership programs               
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.                

Skills        

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills               
• Innovative problem solving capability and ability to seek new solutions and ideas.              

Team Player               

• Able to propose alternatives to drive down costs.               
• Technical insight and sound judgment necessary to direct other technical staff in the solution of unusual problems.                
• Candidates working in a MNC / Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry only, need apply.
