Job Description

• To get offers from suppliers and send to Sr. Manager Marketing / Customer. Responsible to raise indent and send to supplier through E-mail/Fax.
• To get Performa-Invoice from Supplier and send it to client after complete check with agreed terms and product specifications. He is also responsible to issue contract in CMS.
• L/C follow-up and send to relevant suppliers.
• Has to review and maintain shipping schedule / order status on daily basis.
• Supervise production planning for bulk order with Mills and co-ordinate with suppliers’ production planning department to sort-out expected delays in bulk shipments.
• To organize inspections in collaboration with suppliers & Sr. Quality Controller.
• To prepare and forward / up-load on website the in-line and final inspection reports to
• Sr. Manager Marketing / customer as and when required.
• To get the complete information for the sample and bulk dispatch and forward to
• Sr. Manager Marketing / shipping department.
• To get Export Shipping Documents from supplier and forward to client / up-load on website with Confirm Shipment-Advice.
• To prepare and send / up-load on website Weekly Shipment-Schedule to relevant clients once a week.
• Supervise sample development matters and responsible for sample production follow-up and related correspondence with suppliers / customers. Keep up-dated to
• Sr. Manager Marketing on daily basis for sample status. He is also responsible for in time sample dispatch.
• Get sample analysis from Sr. Quality Controller and Supplier and forward comparison to Sr. Manager Marketing / customer also he need to maintain record in computer
• sample-register.
• Visit to suppliers as and when required and prepare Minutes Of Meeting for important meetings only.
• Manager Merchandiser and Sr. Quality Controller are bound to conduct
• routine/occasional meetings. Quality issues or guidelines needed for QCs will be discussed in such meetings. Manager Merchandiser is responsible to keep up-dated to Sr. Marketing Manager / Supplier and to post MOM in CMS.
• To maintain data base of suppliers.
• Manager Merchandiser is responsible to conduct supplier evaluation once a year.
• Manager Merchandiser is responsible to raise/fill CPAs against customer complaints.
• To maintain customer complaint file against claim received.
• New customer development.
