Job Description

TPI Co-ordinator will be the single point of contact with Client and shall have full responsibility to receive instructions, directions and administer the Contract on behalf of SGS with the client.

SCOPE:
The incumbent will:

• coordinate, monitor and ensure services provision through an assigned team at all stages of projects.
• assist Client to ensure contractor’s work is in compliance using good knowledge of Industry standards, procedures and specifications of the project.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Setting up of activity organization and lines of communication.
• Preparation of the Execution Plan and coordination procedures for concerned activities.
• Setting up of activity organization chart and key personnel.
• Expediting of activity tasks including mobilization of personnel.
• Communication with the Project Manager and other parties.
• Implement Inspection Services plans and personnel allocations at all client’s vendors' facilities, at the construction sites and discuss with client all individual assignments.
• Nominate and appoint inspection personnel for each assignment.
• Keep informed of the progress and status of the individual assignments, with respect to schedules, quality of work and provide leadership and direction in the resolution of problems in conjunction with client.
• Obtain information from inspection personnel, consolidate and produce inspection, man-hour control reports and all reports as required by the Client.
• Manage TPI activities for Source and Site Inspections.
• Monitor achievement of customer requirements, both in terms of delivery and technical requirements
• Documents control according to Contract system.
• Final report / lessons learned.

Job Requirements

• Oil & Gas environment work experience / exposure are mandatory.
• Hold a degree in Engineering from a university of repute, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Have at least 15 years experience of which 5 years exclusively in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry in a recognized company and/or major project.
• Have 5 years experience in a Third Party Agency for similar position and jobs.
• Have 5 years brown field experience on QA/QC or Inspection disciplines.
• Good organizational skills.
• General understanding of the different inspection requirements (Mechanical, Electrical, Pressure Equipment etc.).
• Be extensively familiar with all International Design/Testing Codes and Standards. 
• Be fluent in both spoken and written English, while being experienced in using PC and MS-Word/Excel software, AutoCAD, MS Project and planning soft wares.
• Have auditing experiences, e.g. Quality Management Systems, Quality plans QA/QC procedures.
• Be competent and experienced in Technical Report writing.
• Gulf experience and valid UAE driving license holder will be preferred.
